Civil Engineering

Civil Engineering generally consists of anything and everything outside the building.  If it is outside, dirty, wet, or growing, the civil engineer will need to handle it as inexpensively as possible.  Lowest engineering cost however is often not the lowest overall cost as a fast design will ignore balanced earthwork, low impact development opportunities, or efficient utility routing all of which can quickly add up to excess construction costs.
